“There is no such thing as a self-made man. You will reach your goals only with the help of others.” - George Shinn.
While I missed Nurses Week, I still want to send a shout out to these two wonderful nurses. It is only through their skill and dedication that our practice can provide our patients with the exceptional care they need and deserve. Hayley and Jana, thank you for all that you do to make us who we are.
This is colon cancer. It might have been prevented if the patient had had a colonoscopy earlier. Most colon cancers develop from colon polyps. Remove the polyp, prevent the cancer. There’s not too much else we do in medicine that PREVENTS cancer.
If you are over 45, you should get a screening colonoscopy. If you are due for a follow up colonoscopy, don’t keep putting it off.
Talk to your doctor about your colonoscopy. Or call Dr Montany for an appointment at 573-472-7702. No referral necessary.
Hayley has been a Missouri Delta employee since 2014 but recently joined our team in early February. Hayley graduated high school from Cape Central then went on to attend SCTC, where she obtained her practical nursing license. She currently lives in Sikeston with her two kids-Mattie and Ryker. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and spending time with her gal-pals. She is currently spending most of her free time helping to plan her little sister’s wedding..😵💫.. We are so excited to have Hayley as part of the Montany team!
It is with much sadness and yet joy that we announce that Alexa will be leaving us soon. She has decided to follow her heart’s desire and will be taking a job closer to home so that she can spend more time with her family. She has been with us for nearly seven years and has been invaluable in providing exceptional care to our patients and facilitating the growth of our practice. We will of course miss her greatly, but we rejoice with her in her new opportunity and wish her only the best in the future.
God bless, Alexa.
